Apart from the batteries, there is everything you need to get it set up. It has an easy to understand booklet and I had it set up on a convenient tree and running within 40 minutes. the night vision results were a lot clearer than I was expecting for the price of the camera. Up until viewing the results from just one night of operation, I didn't realise that so much wildlife comings and goings went on in my back garden, which was fascinating to watch.

Overall, it's a good quality, well made camera, easy to set up and use and has all the brackets, screws and post/tree strap you'll need to fix it in position. It also has a built-in screen which takes away the guesswork in actually positioning it in the correct orientation. It comes with a USB lead to connect to a computer so you can view your videos at full resolution, which is very handy.

What can I say about this trail camera DL501is that it is a great compact camera 5 stars. The design is good, and it has a camouflaged pattern on its casing. Well, I have tried it out in rain and good weather, and it holds up, no leaks and has a robust case that can handle knocks and slight drops.

Wasn’t too sure if it would pick up much in our garden but after looking at the camera today it’s picked up a hedgehog walking through our garden
This camera is really good it’s very easy to setup .. I’ve changed the settings now to 30s recordings with 5s lag and on a timer from 9:30pm-7am
Not used in the day as didn’t want to do daytime filming but that’s fine

Bought this as a gift. Came with memory card but no batteries. Easy to set up. Good length webbing strap included as well as a wall mount. Fastened up easily. After only 2 nights we had success. Got a lovely clip of a badger plodding through our garden. It’s been out in the Tain and seems fine. Too early to comment on battery life. Choice of still photo/video or both.
