Loved this, my garden and paths were really overgrown with weeds, and this sorted it. I dont believe it kills the weed down to the root, 3 weeks after using it, the weeds are already regrowing... but it is a good product for as long as it lasts... after 3 weeks its burnt out...

was a choice between a flame unit and this. Chemicals were not an option due to an inquisitive dog. The unit is relatively light and easy to use. It gets to the heat quickly and does what it is meant to do. The burnt left-overs soon blow away. Obviously more weeds do return thanks to birds and seeds blown by the wind. I have no real idea as to the running cost in electricity, but using such an item does save my back. I would stress that the instructions regarding allowing the unit to cool slowly should be followed

This is great for killing weeds on my drive. Only used twice so far, so early days but I am suitably impressed. Delivery was slighyly late but seller responded to my query promptly.

I like this product it does exactly what the seller says, it burn the weeds very efficiently and is easy to use. I have now killed all the weeds and moss from my driveway, effortlessly. I would highly recommend this product. Just be careful of the hot nozzle as the heat is very intense.

This is a very effective bit of kit. I would have rated it 5 except for the problem that the cable is too short. It is much cheaper to run than the Butane Gas-fired weeder I was using. The problem is that the cable is too short so you need to use it with an extension lead which in itself is not a problem but if, like me, you like to put the cable round your neck to prevent accidental damage this means the cable reel is hangig round your leg.
